Wow! we can't wait to unleash the new EP on you guys. We've only heard the monitor mixes so far and they sound incredible!

What an awesome weekend! Tiverton you rocked on friday night cheers to Purging The Venom for the support. Plymouth, as always, you delivered and kicked arse! We had so much fun and cheers to Full Mettle Rackett you guys were the perfect way to end an amazing weekend.

This week sees Meansteed supporting Todger, Ten Ton Tabby and World Heroes at the Zenith bar, Islington on Friday 10th then playing at the Metalworks night at The Monarch, Camden on Sunday 12th.
Studio time is now booked so in 4 weeks time the Steed will be sweating it out to bring you the hardest, hard rock a hard rock band can muster!
But before that we will be paying a little visit to Plymouth at the end of the month, (24th and 25th) so keep you eyes peeled for more detail!!!

The Steed are back on the road heading down to Plymouth for the weekend! Playing at The Underground on friday night with Breathe and Badland Bandits. Then on Saturday playing at The Queens Arms, Torpoint with The Corsairs. Sunday sees us back in London for a show at The New Cross Inn with Mothership and Ignorance Of A Rival. This is gonna be a good weekend

Right we're gonna kickstart this year as we mean to go on!
We have got a littel excursion down to plymouth lined up for next weekend, 20th and 21st followed by a show in New Cross on the 22nd. We're knee deep in preproduction for our new EP which we have some exciting news to tell you soon!
We are also doing some auditions for our new bassist as Ollie is leaving for greener pastures. So busy, hectic but exciting times for the Steed!

We have been playing and touring up and down the county for the past year flying the flag for bullshit free Rock N Roll. Heavily influenced by bands from the 70's and 80's like AC/DC., Rose Tattoo, Thin Lizzy, Metallica, Motorhead ….. you know, the good shit! We have gigs and tours booked already for 2012, as well as studio time so need a full time committed player. Own gear essential, driving license desired! Do or Die attitude a MUST!

This week sees us playing two shows with the mighty Death Radio!! First on Thursday 15th at The White Lion Streatham with Bullet Bill. Then on Saturday 17th at Dusk Til Dawn, Archway with Saving Sebastian. Both should be killer shows! Death Radio have just released their first CD so make sure you come down and grab a copy.
Then just before santa comes creeping into your bedroom we're playing the Silver Bullet, Finsbury Park for the ThunderStruck Christmas Shindig should be an awesome night.

Last Night at El Paso, Old Street for a charity fundraiser with We Die Tonight was alot of fun if a bit weird playing after some acoustic guys!
Got a busy december coming up playing a Massive home town show with Ten Ton Tabby and Driven, on the 9th December, which is gonna be epic! We have some treats instore too ;) so make sure you don't miss this one!!!
We also have a show on the 10th Dec supporting the mighty Saxonized with Stuka Squadron at The Horse & Barge, Harefield
After that we're at the White Lion, Streatham on 15th Dec with Death Radio and Bullet Bill

Get ready cornwall were coming for YOU!!!!!
Had a super busy last couple of weeks even with Matty away being a roadie for Jettblack!!! We managed to squeeze in a crazy show at the Flag for fireworks night which caused confetti chaos and saw Jettblack tear it up in Wycombe supporting Fozzy.
We have got some more winter dates squeezed in to for all you lucky folk. Were playing at The White Lion, Streatham with Death Radio on the 15th Dec and have just been confirmed for the Thunderstruck christmas party at The Silver Bullet, Finsbury Park.

Last nights practice was awesome got a new song pretty much written, got a good Motorhead influence on it, really stoked. Plus Ali's been messing around with a Wah peddle!!! Meansteed getting all crazy!!!
Couple more gigs added to our list so check out ones near you got a longon date at El Paso on the 25th Nov plus our next mini tour of Cornwall kicks off in just over two weeks!!!!
This saturday Driven are now confirmed to be joining the line up so get down to the flag for an explosive night of Rock N Roll carnage!!!

Had another awesome weekend playing at The White Lion, Streatham with Todger and Crypsis, then the Prince Albert, Brighton with Ten Ton Tabby, Desolator and Crypsis and finally rounding off the weekend with a Halloween themed show at The Nags Head, High Wycombe with The Braineaters a Misfits tribute band.
Next weekend is a massive fireworks extravaganza at The Flag, Watford featuring MEANSTEED, Driven, Parasitic Earth plus more to be confirmed.
We don't want any exuses about going to other fireworks displays as Cassiobury Park's display will be done by 8 and this will be far bigger and better!!!!

Slight change of plan for Thursdays gig. We're gutted to say Ten Ton Tabby can't make it :( But! Crypsis are gonna come up and play instead. Two shows in two days with them, its like we're on tour! Stoked!!

Next week we have a mini Halloween tour going down!!! Kicking off things on Thursday at The White Lion, Streatham with Todger and Ten Ton Tabby. Friday we're down at The Prince Albert, Brighton for a clash of the Metalheads with Crypsis, Desolator and Ten Ton Tabby. Then finishing our run at The Nag's Head, High Wycombe for their Halloween Burlesque Extravaganza hosted by Roxie Beaumont

What an insane weekend we just had!! Ended up playing 3 shows on the trot with Driven hooking us up with a last minute gig on thursday, followed by the Todger Album launch on friday then we jumped on the ICM Presents show at the flag on saturday as they had a cancellation. Thanks so much to all the bands we played with and who helped us out with equipment share: Driven, Booker, Todger, Ten Ton Tabby, Mayors of Miyazaki, Brocker, Chasing Cadence and Grindhouse :)
Now back to writing new material and working on the album!!!
Dont worry though we still got another weekend of carnage scheduled for Halloween!!! We're playing in Streatham, Brighton and High Wycombe so stay tuned for some costumed capers near you!!!

We had so much fun at the Motherload gig on friday was absolute carnage that didnt finish until saturday night!!! Massive thanks to everyone that showed up, Neil Alternator for organising it and putting on a top night as well as all the bands that played, Motherload, Black Wednesday, Dead Set Disorder and Ben Mckevley.
Our next gig is on the 14th Oct with our friends Todger who are launching their new album so you dont want to miss this!!! Also in support are the mighty Ten Ton Tabby and Mayors of Miyazaki!
